So I used the deliquesce metallic copper for the accents and the spider is in platinum  Gold shimmering paint gives it the sparkle on the edges and the squiggle marks on the tag. Stop by all the design team members blogs for more inspiration

I hope this inspires you to enter the challenge which is anything goes. How easy is that.

This is the same tag I just used different backgrounds to give it a different look. For more info on my tag check out my blog at  click here

Shimmery Fall Leaf

Hello!

Shea here with Glitter and Bonbons to show you my non-traditional Thanksgiving card.  This seems to be the year for non-traditional colors as I've made some Christmas cards recently using different colors as well.  I just find that sometimes I want to shake things up a bit.  Besides, my garden really does have all of these colors in it in autumn!

How's that for some in-your-face color?  I used spray inks on watercolor paper, and they never fail to wow me with their vivid shades.  And they're perfect for complementing with a little glitz and shimmer.  I die cut the leaf then painted it with four shades of CI Paints - Gold, Burnt Clay, Evergreen and Autumn Wheat.

After the paint had dried I misted the leaf with water and scrunched it up to distress it a bit, then placed it on a bit of ribbon netting.  A greeting, some ribbon and a couple of small stick pins complete the arrangement.

I embossed the edges of the card and sentiment panel with Deliquesce Gilded Gold.  I also sprinkled a little bit of it over the sentiment and heated it from underneath for a slightly different look.

Some gold leaf lines in opposing corners complete my non-traditional Thanksgiving card.  Thank you for joining me and please pop over to the current CI Paints challenge Inspired By: Autumn Colors.

Happy crafting!

All Boxed Up.

Hi everyone I am back on this totally hot Thursday in Sunny Florida.  You would think after 20 years I would be used to this weather but nope... Anyhoo today I am sharing a book box well I should say a hidden compartment book box because when you open it up there is a compartment you can use to store items in.

I applied gesso and painted and sort of smeared the paint with my fingers along different parts of the paper
I applied the gold paint to the leaves to add some shine and color to them

It is hard to tell but I also painted the mesh ribbon with some paint to make it match the colors I chose to use.  I love how it all turned out and I hope everyone enjoyed my project for today.

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget our challenge!

I {Heart} You

Hi CIP fans! Dana here today sharing an artist trading card that I assembled from some scraps that were laying on my desk and a resin heart that I created with the new Creative Inspirations Paint UV Resin, Resinesense.

I used a jewelry mold to form my heart. I live in sunny Florida, so after I filled up the wells in my tray with Resinesense, I set it in the sun to harden.

I primed my heart with a coat of gesso before adding a coat of Creative Inspirations Garnet, my go-to shade of bright red. I finished my ATC with some Gold highlights.

Metallic Tag

Hi CIP fans! Dana here today sharing a tag featuring some of my favorite colors of Creative Inspirations Paint and Deliquesce Fine Platinum Embossing Powder.

I used Kassi's fabulous Embossed Paste technique to add the platinum squares to my tag.

I poured paint directly onto my tag for a splash of color.  I tilted the tag and let gravity move the wet paint for a natural look.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Leprechaun Duo

Hi CIP fans and followers!  I just had to stamp this sweet Leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day, and to follow along with the current Go Green challenge!  I had fun with Creative Inspirations Paint, and added a bit of paper piecing.  I've used quite a few shimmery paints from the Creative Inspirations Paint store, along with the Deliquesce Metallic Copper embossing powder for the sentiment.  The paint colors used are: Copper (all along the scalloped edge), Carmel and Raw Sienna (stockings), Emerald and Evergreen (Shamrocks and jacket accents), Green Olive (hat sash), Gold (coins and buckles), and Sunshine (star shape in coins).
Here is a closer look at the CIP products that I've used:

Casing It - Inspired by the CIDT

Hi CIP fans!  I hope you are all having a fabulous start to the New Year.  Dana here today sharing a tag I created for the Challenge theme for this week; Casing It. I'm inspired by my fellow Creative Inspirations Design Team members every day.  This tag was inspired by Kassi's Tissue Paper Tutorial.

Instead of using white tissue paper like Kassi, I chose a bright red.  I highlighted the crinkle texture of the tissue paper with Denium, Emerald and Gold paint. I love the vibrant shimmer of the CI paints and am thrilled that they show up well on a dark background! If you're looking for some inspiration for your next project, check out the Creative Inspirations Tutorials.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with this week's challenge! Remember, you do not need to use CI Paints on your projects, but if you have them, we would love to see how you used them. As always, thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Hello, and Happy Monday! Emily here today with a project using some wonderful Creative Inspirations Paint. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Was it full of good food, family and friends? Mine was wonderful. I spent the holiday with some good friends and my boyfriend since the kiddos were with their dad this Thanksgiving. :)

Today I have a tag I made using a shipping tag, twine, Prima Flowers and wood piece, pin, stamps, distress ink and lots of CI Paints. If you don't already have all of your favorite CI Paints, now is the time to get them. For the holiday season all marked products on the website are 10% off!!!

Here is my tag...

In the close ups below you can see all of the lovely glimmer, shimmer and bling of the paints! Each time I use the paints, I am amazed at how wonderful they look. They also dry well, and aren't sticky like some other shimmer paints I have used in the past.

Always Be Grateful

Good morning and Happy Monday fellow paint lovers!  Emily here today with a canvas I created using lots of beautiful Creative Inspirations Paints.

Recently, I have been inspired by all of the fall leaves and colors I am surrounded by on a daily basis when I walk to work. Thanksgiving is also coming up very soon, so many have been posting and sharing what they are grateful for this month. The two inspirations combined equal today's canvas.

Nine different paints were used from CIP in this canvas. Not only did I use the paints on the flowers, but I also used them on the canvas, the glass beads gel and a small amount on the wooden letters.

As you can see, the message of the canvas is clear. It is a nice fit for this time of year. I currently have this piece hanging in the hallway surrounded by family photos. It reminds us to be grateful for who and what we have. :)

You can see the shimmer of the paints in these various close up shots. When you look at the canvas from different angles you can see the different colors I used.

Below are the Creative Inspirations Paints used in my canvas today.

Other supplies used: canvas, Bo Bunny Khaki Dot cardstock, Prima Flowers, Wood Veneer Alpha (Studio Calico) Liquitex Glass Beads Gel, Acrylic paint , Distress Ink, Prima Stamps, Tim Holtz Stamps, StazOn Ink,

Thank you for stopping by today! Remember to join Jessica for our Weekly Inspired By Challenge! This weeks is Inspired by: Turkey Turkey!! So let us see those Thanksgiving or Turkey inspired projects!!

This week's challenge is:
Inspired By: Turkey Turkey
we want to see all those projects with either a Turkey on them or anything that is Thanksgiving related...
Here's some inspiration:
I made a fun Thanksgiving gift tag...
Lots of texture and dimension mixed with CI Paints...makes for a great project!!
Here is a close-up of the Turkey that I colored with my copics but added some CI Paint in
Gold, Raw Sienna, Coal and Burgundy.
He sure does shimmer :)
I also colored my ribbon with chocolate using 3 Girl Jam Antique White crinkle ribbon.
The mix of the paint on the ribbon and the antique white color makes the paint darker and lighter in certain spots. Not sure you can see it well in the picture but trust me..it looks awesome!!

I hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with this weeks challenge!!
Remember you do not need to use CI Paints on your projects but if you have them we would LOVE to see how you used them!!
As always thanks for stopping by and
have a great week!

Fall Layout with Painted Flowers

Hi CIP fans!  Dana here today and I'm so excited to share my first project for Creative Inspirations Paint!  I wanted to create some fall flower clusters for my layout.  I didn't have flowers to match this specific color palette, so I started with white flowers and some Creative Inspirations Paint.  I'm thrilled with my custom painted flowers!

I also painted the fence, which began as natural wood, with Chocolate.  I love the subtle shimmer!

Painting flowers and embellishments to match patterned papers is easy and fun with the fabulous range of CI paints.  With several shades of each color, adding depth and highlights is a breeze.

I used Sunshine, Canary and Mellow Yellow to color this flower.  I started by coloring the center of the flower with Sunshine.  I then colored the majority of each petal with Canary.  I finished this bloom with random highlights of Mellow Yellow along the tips of the flower petals.

I used Raw Sienna, Gold and Autumn Wheat to color this flower.  I applied Raw Sienna to the petals, leaving the tips white.  I added Gold to create a darker flower center.  I then added Autumn Wheat to several of the petal tips to finish.

I used Burnt Clay, Copper, Burnt Sienna and Mango to color these flowers, working out from the center from darkest to lightest paint color.  Once the flowers were dry, I used a dry brush and some Winter Frost to add white highlights to the petals for a more shabby feel.

I used Emerald, Sage, Green Olive and Mint to color these flowers, working out from the center from the lightest to darkest paint color.  I used Emerald to lightly color the edges of the flower petals.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  If you would like a chance to win some of this fabulous paint, join in on any one of the weekly challenges each month.  You don't need to use Creative Inspirations paints to play along, but if you do, you double your chances of winning! Be sure to check back here every day for more inspiration from the talented design team.
