A Marbled Card using CI Paints

Hello again friends! Emily here with another card to share with you that I made using some Creative Inspirations Paints. For today's card I used a marbling technique that our tutorial queen, Kassi shared with us. I am in LOVE with this technique!

Here is the original video:

Here is the final card...

For my card and the marbling, I used Autumn Wheat and Carmel CI Paints with some Vintage Photo Distress Stain. You can also use the Vintage Photo Distress Ink if you don't have the stains. Kassi uses Distress Ink in her tutorial video. I love the final result you get with this technique! It looks so good!

Here are some close ups of the card...

I embossed the sentiment with Deliquesce Metallic Copper embossing powder. It really went well together with the other paints used in the card. I added some Beige and Antique Copper paints to some Prima flowers for added color.

Below are the CI Paints and products used....

I hope you've enjoyed my projects the past two days! I will see you on Monday with another project!!

♥♥♥Shabby Chic Mini Album♥♥♥ & Video

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a Shabby Chic Cover for my Mini album.
For this front cover I used Creative Inspirations Deliquesce Fine Black embossing Powder. I LOVE using this and my Cottagecutz pieces turned out just like I wanted them to. I wanted the Look of Black Patent Leather, and CIP's gave me that look!! :)

If you click on the photo above, you should be able to see some of the sparkle(Deliquesce Gold Crystal Sparkle) that was added to the black. I used it on the Hat Box. I also did the Vintage Dress Form, and the Love tag.

♥♥♥Click on any of my photo's to see close up♥♥♥
I made the front of this cover like an Envelope, so it could hold a couple of Photo Mattes. I added some Vintage Lace, Wedding Trim, Really Reasonable Ribbon, Flowers, Leaves,Feathers, Wedding sprays, and I think that is it....hehehehe

♥♥♥I do have a full Video on my Mini Album on my Blog here♥♥♥

Sorry for the FIRE ALARM in the ending of my video...hehehehee

Thank you all for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

CIP's Pennie Pockets/Video

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with 2 Pennie Pockets I created for Creative Inspiration Paints. I LOVE using the Paints & Embossing Powders on my projects.

For this 1st Pennie Pocket I used CIP's Paints in Tutu Pink & Chocolate to give some shimmer to my flowers. I also added a tad bit of Resplendence Angel Dust

On my next Pennie Pocket I decided to use Creative Inspiration Paints Deliquesce Gold Crystals Sparkle for my Tag. I love the look of the pretty shiny gold and the crystals that come through.
My video shows how I used the paints and Embossing powders on my projects here.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!

Crinkled DP Tag/Tutorial

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a tag I made for a Mini Album I will be working on for myself.  I wanted to re-do my Crinkled Design Paper Technique using Creative Inspiration Paints instead of ink pads. I LOVE using the paints, and thought they would be perfect for this technique.
VIDEO is BELOW! :)

The flowers were stamped and embossed using CIP's deliquesce black and colored with tickled pink. I did use a tad of water with this color to lighten it up a tad. LOVE the look of the flowers!!!

It's been a LONG time since I've done this technique, but do have some projects with this done on my blog.

Tea Party anyone? & Video Tutorial

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with an
Accordion Front Faced card for today.
On my card I used Creative Inspiration Paints Deliquesce Platinum to create a metal spoon look. I have a video tutorial at the end of my post showing how to create the paper spoon to look like metal.
Card Measures 6 x 6

Next I used the same CIP's Platinum embossing powder to change the look of my brad on my bow. It was black, and I wanted it to match the spoon and my card. I did the same technique on this as well.

I love making different types of cards, and decided to make my card an ACCORDION Front Faced Card. You could put photo's to send to family and friends in this type of card. LOVE making this!!

Here is a picture showing, I used 2 bags to create this.

For the Tea Party Sticker, I wanted a different look other than a sticker, so I used the Creative Inspiration Paint Deliquesce Clear to created the glossy glass look, and love the outcome of this. Beautiful! LOVE working with CIP's they are AWESOME!!!!

Here is my video Tutorial on the Platinum Spoon!

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful week!!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

enamel accent...

Hi everyone!

I'm breaking from my norm today and doing a video tutorial. I was working on my usual photo tutorial when someone asked me to make a video of it, so I figured, why not? =)

(if you can't see the whole screen here, watch it on youtube by clicking here.)

Note: There are several brands and names for the 2 part silicone mold putty. Ranger has one called Melt Art Mold-N-Pour, there's also Easy Mold Silicone Molding Putty, Silicone Plastique, Amazing Mold Putty.... Do a google search for silicone mold putty, and you find the stuff. =)

Enjoy!

templates...

Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, the DT member who was supposed to post today has not been feeling well, so I said I would take the day....

I thought I would share with you a video I posted on YouTube a while ago... It might give you some ideas for what you can do with the new Metallic Inspirations and Jeweled Inspirations. I use the Cricut and Gypsy to make my rhinestone templates because that is what I have, I'll share some other techniques soon.

don't forget you can order your Jeweled Inspirations and Metallic Inspirations HERE.

marbling...

Hello everyone!
Happy Monday! I'm here to bring you another Inspiration Monday to help get your creative juices flowing for the week!

Today's technique is Marbling with Creative Inspirations paint... I thought this technique would just be easier to show than to photograph. =)

*I was doing my voiceover late at night (so the phone wouldn't ring, etc) and I said that on the leaf I used Winter White and Antique Silver CI paint.... I actually only used Beige.... oops. =)*
Here is my project...
Paper: Coredinations, white cardstock
Ink: VersaMark, Distress ink
Stamps: Inkadinkado, SEI "Mimosa", Prima
CI paint: Beige
Die cuts: Cricut "Gypsy Wanderings"
Other: rhinestones, ribbon, embossing powder

Have a fabulously sparkly Monday!
