Hi CIP fans! Dana here today sharing a small altered piece. It may be hard to believe, but this is my first altered bird house. I wanted a nice fall-themed home decor piece and I had a lot of fun incorporating a lot of different textures in a pretty fall color palette.
My daughters found this set of acorns on a walk through the woods and said that I must use them on a project. I think they are a fun addition to this flower cluster!
My favorite part of this bird house is the embossed roof, which started out as a soda can. I carefully cut the top and bottom from the can and ran in through my Cuttlebug in an embossing folder. Once the roof pieces were cut to size and attached to the house, I painted them with my favorite color of Creative Inspirations Paint, Mocha Latte. A couple of light coats of paint provided great coverage on metal!
Thanks for stopping by today!
