Trust and Have Patience with Resinesence

Hello and happy Monday! Emily here today with a pendant I made using a little Creative Inspirations Paint, Resinesence and some impatience. I say impatience because in the process of making this, my impatience got the best of me... and you can see the results...

So... one of the things you need to remember when using the Resinesence is to make sure you do NOT have any air bubbles before curing it under your UV light. (unless you want them. In some cases, they look awesome!) In the process of making this, I neglected to ensure that ALL bubbles were gone, which is why I say I was impatient. However, I learned my lesson, but I still love the way it turned out.

The pendant is a Prima pendant that I filled with gears, some angel wing charms and a wooden heart that I colored using Garnet CI Paint.

Here are the CI Paint products used:

I hope you have found some inspiration, and learned the importance of being patient I do plan on trying this pendant again... but with a bit more patience. :)

Have a fantastic day!!

Blue Birthday Rose

Hello!

Shea here with Glitter and Bonbons to show you the little box that I made as a gift to my daughter for her birthday.  Her actual birthday was last Friday, but we are celebrating it with her brother and my mother this coming weekend.  She turned 25.  Yikes!  How did it happen that my baby is 25 years old?  There must be some mistake...

I do call her my sweet baby girl.

The box is a cut file from the Silhouette store and is quite fun to put together.  I wish I had taken pictures before I put it together, but suffice it to say that there's more to it than just a lid that comes off.

I love the paper.  It's double-sided so the box looks as good inside as it does outside.

The real fun began with the embellishment.  I made a large rose using the Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers die and painted it with CI Paints Sea Foam.  Then, because I believe in gilding the lily, I dusted it with Resplendence Angel Dust.  It is my favorite glitter EVER.  Just look at that sparkle and shine!

Underneath the flower I used a die cut doily that I painted with Ivory and Autumn Wheat then layered ribbon and pearl string on top.

I added a little charm that I made using a bezel, digital paper and CI's one-step resin, Resinesence.

And that is my charming little box that's holding, yes, a cute little Swarovski charm!  The charm box fits perfectly inside.

Thank you for joining me and I hope you'll hop on over to the CI Paints blog and play along on this fortnight's challenge Inspired By: Anything Goes.

Happy crafting!

Inspired By: Autumn Colors - Happy Fall Card

Hi CIP fans! Dana here today sharing a fall themed card for the Autumn Colors Challenge this week. I love patterned paper, so I chose a pretty leaf print and highlighted the design with several colors of Creative Inspirations paint.

I used Burnt Clay, Chocolate, Copper, Emerald, Rustic Red and Sunshine paint to help some of the leaves shine. I added some Clear Jeweled Inspirations for a little extra sparkle.

I made a pair of resin leaves with the NEW Resinesence and then painted them with Raw Sienna and Rustic Red paint.

Thanks for stopping by today!
