Color in the cover:

My creation:

I used CI Paint DENIUM to give the background stamp I used a little shimmer.  How fun to use the paints to also color in background stamps!  The shimmer adds just the right touch to make the card complete.

I also colored in the main flower with the paint!

I just love these paints!

Have a great day!  Check back Thursday to hear about all the fun changes for the next term!  We have a lot in store for you!!  It's going to be fun!

Have a nice day!

Tuesday Color Spotlight: Sage

Once again it's Tuesday, so that means another featured color. This week I've chosen SAGE! Such a pretty green color!

Color in the cover:

This past weekend I was at the Mall of America for Scrapfest, what fun!! Anyway I had taken a class by Prima Marketing - I just love flowers!! Anyway the leaves below were cut out of some of the packaging from the flowers we used to make the LO below. How cool is that? I have never really looked at the packaging from products before, but they encouraged us to start taking a closer look at the packaging and try re-using it for projects. So we cut these leaves out - and obviously as I was in the class I kept thinking - "I can't wait to get to my CI Paints to add some shimmer to this project!!" :) So when I got home I added SAGE to the leaves to give them some shimmer!

Here's the layout:

Two close-ups of the bottom right flowers and leaves with CI Paint SAGE!
I also used SAGE to alter my paper. The top half has some circles that I thought it would be fun to add some shimmer to.
I also used the remaining paper I had from the layout to make this card:
A very simple, yet elegant card!

A close-up of the flower cluster. Again I used CI Paint SAGE to add shimmer to the leaves!
Using the paints just adds such a beautiful end touch to all projects! I just love these paints!

Check out SAGE along with all the other great colors you can choose from when ordering! SAGE would be great for those Christmas tree's on the holiday cards that we'll will have to be starting soon!

Have a great day!

Tuesday Color Spotlight: Sky Blue

Are you ready for another amazing color? I hope so, because it's Tuesday....so today's Color Spotlight is SKY BLUE!

I created this adorable card a few week's back and thought it would be a nice one to share. I just think this House Mouse stamp is so cute.

I usually always color the flower pink or purple, but for a change I colored it blue!

I first used a prang colored pencil to color in the flower (Gray Blue) and then used CI Paints SKY BLUE to color over the top to give it some shimmer! Isn't it pretty?
I thought I'd start including a picture of the paint inside the cover as well, to show off to all of you!
Here is the paint on white cardstock. Using colored pencils first just makes it a little brighter. But it is fun to just use the paints like this with a waterbrush. The more layers you put on the dark it will also become. This is just one stroke with a paint brush.
When you order your paints, make sure to post a link to your blog in our inlinkz, we'd love to see what you have created!!
Have a wonderful day!

Color Spotlight: Tutu Pink

It’s Tuesday, so that means another color spotlight! This week’s color I’ve chosen is one of my favorites…..Tutu Pink! It’s such a pretty pink!

I love how these cards turn out, they're pretty simple, yet I think very pretty. With summer coming to an end, I thought I'd make one last summery card!
I first stamped the butterfly stamp (SU Stamp Set "Priceless") in the ink color of choice then I lightly dipped my paint brush in the cover of the Tutu Pink paint and then lightly brushed it on the stamp.
Look at the beautiful shimmer in the burrtfly:
I just LOVE it!

I then used a toothpick dipped in the cover of the paint to add shimmer to the dots in the swirls.
Here is "Tutu Pink" on plain white cardstock!

Tutu Pink is a color in my opinion that you just HAVE to have!

I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!

Color Spotlight: Winter Frost

Another great color spotlight this week, sorry it's a little late, I've been having some horrible internet connections lately.

Anyway this week's color is WINTER FROST! I just love this paint!! With Christmas right around the corner, most of us are starting to think about those Christmas cards...well I think this paint is a must have!

Here's a quick card I made using Winter Frost:
Look at the shimmer!!

I also quickly made a tag this morning before I left for work, something I've been wanting to do the last few years, but never have! Maybe this will be the year! :)

Look at the beautiful shimmer you can add to your snowmen, a beautiful snow scene, etc.!
Winter frost reminds me so much of those beautiful winter days when the sun is shining and reflecting on the snow! Don't you agree?!?!

Make sure to order your Winter Frost paint for your holiday cards! Also remember there are currently 4 special edition colors, get them before they're gone!

Have a fabulous evening!

Tuesday Color Spotlight: Blue Ice

Happy Tuesday everyone! This week I'm taking a look at CI Paints color Blue Ice.

And what a great way to show it off by making a masculine card! I usually have a tough time making cards for the guys as I don't own too many manly stamps. But am very pleased with the way this card turned out. It's a simple, yet a fun card I made using my Cricut.

I cut out "Happy Birthday" from Cricut cart "Beyond Birthdays".

The stars were cut from Cricut cart "George and the Basic Shapes" along with the squares and rectangle.
Both the sentiment and stars were then painted with CI Paints "Blue Ice" to add a clear irridescent with blue highlights to them. I just love the shimmer, it always just adds a nice final touch.

Here are two different close-up shots of "Blue Ice" on a blue piece of paper and on plain cardstock. I love the hint of blue shimmer!
Yet great paint from CI Paints that is a clear irridescent with a color highlight that leaves the paper, brad, ribbon, ect. the original color and just adds a special touch of shimmer, in this case a highlight of blue!

Have a great day!

Tuseday Color Spotlight: Pink Highlights

Good morning! This week I'm going to take a look at the color Pink Highlights! This paint is another clear iridescent, like "Fairy Dust" (which was last week's Color Spotlight), but this one has pink highlights!

You could use this paint to alter just about anything you want to give some clear shimmer to with a tint of pink! It would be adorable on baby girl cards, which is on my list of things to do! But I was in a flower mood this week.

I created these two cards. I got these lovely flower stamps from a friend and hadn't used them yet, so I thought it was about time I did!A close-up....The paint along with the ink color almost made the paint look like it had a hint of purple in it!
Another card:
You can see the pink highlights in this close-up shot:
Remember to check out the blog hop going on right now for a chance to win an amazing prize!! The chance to enter ends tomorrow night! Also make sure to order you LIMITED EDITION paints before they are gone!

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday Color Spotlight: Fairy Dust

Welcome to Tuesday's Color Spotlight!

Today I'm going to look at one of my favorite CI Paints....Fairy Dust!! I go through this one a lot! I love it!

Fairy Dust is a clear iridescent that can be used to add shimmer to just about anything, while leaving the original paper, brad, ink, etc. the original color.

I really like how you can use Fairy Dust to add shimmer to designed paper. No more having to buy expensive shimmery designed paper when you can use what you already have at home and just use the paint to add shimmer anywhere you'd like. (Not saying it's not fun to buy new paper....but if you'd ask my husband he'd say I killed millions of trees with all the paper I own and he likes to tell people if our house would start on fire my craft room would be the first to burn with all the paper!)

Another photo of using Fairy Dust to add shimmer to a few of the circles.

This is a piece of paper I used on one of my last projects. I thought Sky Blue was a great match to the color in the center of the flowers (bottom circle), but this is just to show how Fairy Dust adds a shear shimmer rather than shimmer and color. The top two circles I just used Fairy Dust.

Who doesn't like shimmery paper?!?! I sure do! I really like that you can use Fairy Dust to add shimmer to whatever sheet of paper you'd like! Once again no more having to pay more for paper already with shimmer! You can just use your CI Paints! These paints have so many great uses!!

Here is the card I created for this week:

One last great thing about Fairy Dust is you can color your image in and use the paint to add shimmer to the areas you'd like while keeping the original color. Same goes along with using inks. Sometimes I like to ink the edges of my paper and then brush on Fairy dust to also add some shimmer.

Fairy Dust is a must have! Check the paints out on the website!

Have a wonderful day!
