Happy Tuesday crafting friends. Today is my last post as a member of the Creative Inspirations Paint design team. I've had so much fun working with their fabulous paints, glitters and embossing powders. They always add such a beautiful sparkle and shimmer to my images, and I'll continue to use them on future cards. So today I have a Christmas card to share with you.
This little sweetie is Christmas Angel by Saturated Canary. She's colored with copics and colored pencils and then I painted her wings with Fairy Dust paint. I sprinkled some Resplendence Angel Dust Fine Glitter on the ornaments. Hopefully you can see the sparkle these products add if you enlarge the picture.
If you scroll down you will find our weekly challenge. I hope you play along. Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Anita

Touch of Vintage Shimmer
| 7" X 7" |
Hi Everyone,
My post today, will be my last one as a design team member for Creative Inspirations Paint. However, you'll still see me pop in from time to time with a creative project of some type - so its not really goodbye :-)
You know me, I love vintage, so had to create something a little more old worldly. The ribbon was painted with splashes of Chocolate, Burnt Sienna and Tan - love how you can colour 'anything' with this wonderful product - just a simple zap to heat-set in the microwave and an iron, and away you go!
Of course, dare I say 'GOLD' has been added liberally (nothing new) to the flowers, some fully coated and others only the edges of petals. Chocolate highlights the carnations. The corrugated cardboard beneath the image has been washed with Ivory. Oh my that Ivory is stunning on the corrugated board, and really leaves the most glorious shimmer.
Soon the new design team members will be announced and I am sure they will bring many wonderful creations to inspire everyone.
Thank you to Kendra, and my fellow team-mates for being such a fabulous support throughout my term, and to Molly for creating a truly fantastic product...

Forever, Mini Album..
This month, for Creative Inspirations Paint I have created a mini album - this project has been in the making for some time, and it is finally nice to have it completed. I have taken close up photographs at times, to enhance and show the beautiful, shimmery detail of the paints.
The album is a very special one, as it contains memories of my brother, Paul, who is no longer with us.
Throughout the album, I have painted various elements including flowers, chipboard, die-cut doilies, foliage and so forth..... giving the pages, a real spark of shimmer. I love the 'Gold' in the Creative Inspirations Paint line, it would have to be one of my favourites, that I used ALL the time. Flowers were brushed with Pink Highlights... really bringing them to life...
Cheery Lynn Design die cut elements above, washed in 'Gold'.
Imaginarium Designs Chipboard 'Forever' looks magical, painted in 'Gold'...
More 'Gold'.... oops...can't help myself in the 'gold'...
Pink Highlights, washed over paper elements used throughout the album, to add a beautiful finishing touch.
Sage washed over foliage, again... Gold highlighted over die-cuts..
Close up, looks like I missed places, but I haven't! :-)
Even edges of book, tags, and rose edges, touched with 'Gold'...
Hope you enjoyed ... my 'special' album... now I'm off to journal 'memories' which I treasure with all my heart....

I Miss You Card
Don't forget this month, Creative Inspirations Paint are celebrating their 3rd birthday, and celebrating with 10% off all orders - so do jump on over to the Creative Inspirations Paint website and 'see' all the wonderful products that are available, and stock up!
This week, for Creative Inspirations Paint I have created a card for a dear friend back in South Australia who I miss dearly. As most know, I am 'new' to colouring in, so please bare with me as I learn the lurks and perks of this wonderful art-form. Keeping in the lines at times, is a little difficult, with such small areas, but I'm slowly getting better!
All the beautiful shimmer I have tried to capture in the photographs, with the image first being coloured and then Pink Highlights paint added, for instant shine. Resplendence Angel Dust was used on lace areas of the image and also around outer edge of card, looks so pretty and even more so in 'real'.
The leaf beads were also painted firstly with Emerald and then wiped off, so the paint soaked into the veins of the leaves. Then a wash of Sage was added across the whole leaf.
Have a fantastic week

New trends with Creative Inspirations Paints
Hello, my dear crafting friends. Irit is here again and this time with some trendy technique to show.
Right now paint are all around new trend and paint spots or splashes are just a Must on cards or all other paper projects. So this time I am going to show you my paint spots: on a simple and clean card and then over an altered Winter wall deco (I know, winter is not here, but I used an Aussi chipboard and they are just in the middle of Australian winter)
So first of all a card- I just grabbed some paint with matching to my flowers colors and splatted it around with a small paint brush.
You should do it totally random and don't afraid to make some spots over your embellishments, do not stick to your " white space" only. And remember to let then dry for a pretty long time as those are pretty heavy drops and they stay bulky.
The second project today is this Hello, Winter wall deco and I used those random splashes all over the project.
It really looks like some snow around the page. Then I added some Angel Dust glitter over the bare frame (inked with Versamark Watermark Ink) and painted the little angel with Winter Frost White shiny paint.
Hope you are going to try some splashes on your own projects.
See you next time with more paint inspiration

Mini Album and Birthday SALE
Creative Inspirations Paint is celebrating their
birthday, and there will be a SALE, with 10% off all products for the whole of
August. If you need to re-stock some of your paints, or try them for the first
time, now is the time to do so....
This week for Creative Inspirations Paint I have
created a mini album from toilet roll holders. The mini album fits neatly into
a soap box which I altered, and can be viewed at the bottom of this post.
Flower and leaf elements were coloured using
Creative Inspirations Paint, in the colours of Olive Green, Antique Gold, Blush,
and TuTu Pink.
The shimmer of the paints is just beautiful, and even more so in 'real'.
The main cover flower, has been painted using TuTu
Pink and brushed with Blush, then further highlighted with Resplendence Angel
Dust. My gosh, the glimmer of the paint and Angel Dust is just
beautiful...
The box (old soap box originally), hosts 3
hand-made pencils created from kitchen skewers and painted with Creative Inspirations Paint - Green Olive, TuTu Pink and Gold.
The paints worked so well in creating real pencils - not that they draw!!

Creative Inspirations Paint: Tutu Pink, Blush, Green Olive, Antique Gold, Gold, and Resplendence

Lemonade Anyone?
Hello crafting friends. If you're experiencing extremely hot temperatures like I am, I hope you're managing to stay cool. I thought the image on this card was perfect for this time of year.
This is an older Penny Black image called Make Lemonade. Now I'm not normally a fan of mice, but I thought these two cuties sharing a cold glass of lemonade was adorable! I colored the image with copics and colored pencils and then I used the fabulous Creative Inspirations Paints on the glass of lemonade. I used Sunshine and Mellow Yellow on the actual lemonade. Then I painted the entire glass with Fairy Dust. The paints give the glass a cold, frosty look which I think you can see in the close up picture below.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hugs, Anita

With Love - Card
This fortnight's project has been created using a lovely paper range from Kaisercraft, and enhanced fully using the beautiful paints by Creative Inspirations Paint.
Each element within the card has been coloured using a variety of paint colours. Paint was applied from a very light wash, to a more heavy wash. Several colours were applied together, especially for the leaves (Gold, Sage, and Green Olive) to enhance the leaves futher.
A list of all colours can be found in my supplies list.
...and of course I had to use my very favourite 'Resplendence' Angel Dust, which really adds such a beautiful, unique finishing touch to a
project. I applied with a brush, a light application of Helmar Gemstone
Glue to where I wanted the sparkle, and then sprinkled the 'Angel Dust'
over the card.
I took the photographs on different angles to try and attempt to capture the beautiful shimmer of the Creative Inspirations Paint and Angel Dust.
I'm not the best 'stamper' and 'colourer' (is that even a word lol).... so I wanted to showcase the use of these amazing paints as a way to enhance general cards, made from a paper-set.
Happy creating/painting...
Supplies:
Creative Inspirations Paint: Autumn Wheat, Green Olive, Sea Foam, Sage, Winter Frost, Gold, Lavender, Rose Quartz, Ivory and 'Resplendence' Angel Dust.
Helmar Adhesives: 450 Quick Dry, Scrap Dots, Gemstone Glue, Premium Craft Glue.
American Craft: Cardstock, and Pop Micro-beads 'Gold'.
Papers: Kaisercraft 6.5" 'Sweet Nothings' Paper Pad

A Sparkly Bubble Bath
Hello sweet friends. Today I'm sharing a card I made using a stamp by Lili of the Valley.
Isn't this bunny couple the cutest? My friend Elaine gave me this stamp a little while back and I finally got a chance to color it. I used copics and colored pencils to color the image. Then I added some Creative Inspirations Paints to give my image some pretty sparkle. I used Raw Sienna and Fairy Dust on the champagne and I painted Blue Ice on the bubbles and the water. I love the way this paint goes on so smoothly and it dries very quickly ... so no smudged images :)
We have a challenge going on and you can find all the details here. If you play along in our challenges you have a chance to win some of these fabulous paints!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Memory Book 'Page' with Chipboard Elements and Tag
This fortnight for Creative Inspirations Paint, I thought I would show my 'work in progress' on my Memory Album. This is one of the pages inside where the torn/distressed edges were painted with 'Gold', allowing for a really aged appearance.
I'm not the best stamper (learning the art), so I tried to attempt to create an embossed image, which was not really sucessful, but practice will make perfect. Sadly, I cannot tell you which colours in the 'Deliquesce' range I used, as I packed them up before writing them down (with the thought of throwing my tag out). I played around a little with using the Denium and Sky Blue Creative Inspirations Paints on the background, trying to meld one into the other. The more I played, the more I liked it, so thus, my tag did not end up in the bin.
The silk ribbon was painted with straight Denium, and here and there a touch of Blush.
The Imaginarium Designs chipboard butterfly was painted using the Sky Blue, then touched (while still wet) with Denium, blending the two together. I am unsure what the green spot is, must be something spilled onto the chipboard before painting. It does not show in real, only in the photographs!
I used a lone Prima Marketing flower in white, painting it in the same colours as the tag - Denium and Sky Blue. A light touch of the paintbrush to the edges of each layer of the flower with the Denium paint, gave more definition and character. Before the paint totally dried (you have to work quick as it does dry fairly quickly) I rolled the flower in Resplendence 'Angel Dust' - my new favourite in the Creative Inspirations Range. Oh my goodness, it is sooooo delightful, the colours are beyond amazing and a little, goes a very long way.
Applying Gold to the edges of the actual book, and then the torn/distressed edges gave a beautiful shimmer, and replicates an older era of 'book'.
Supplies:
Creative Inspiration Paints: Denium, Sky Blue, Gold, Blush, Resplendence 'Angel Dust'
Tag
Imaginarium Designs: Butterfly
Prima Marketing: White Flower
Kaisercraft: Pearls
Silk Ribbon: Hand-Dyed with Blush & Denium Creative Inspiration Paints

For You
Hello crafty friends. Today I'm sharing a card using an image from the DigiStamp Boutique.
This sweet image is from the Rosie Collection 1. I colored it with copics and colored pencils and then applied Creative Inspirations Paints to the balloons and package bows to give them some shimmer. I used Sunshine, Mellow Yellow, Turquoise, and Sky Blue on the balloons. On the bows, I used Turquoise, Sky Blue, Royal Purple, and Light Purple. Then I went over all of these areas with Fairy Dust to really add some sparkle!
We have a challenge going on and you can find all the details in this post. You can find all the Creative Inspirations Paints here. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Angel Card
The beautiful stamp set 'Lace, Take One Step' (JS342) was painted using Creative Inspiration Paints in Amethyst, and Plum.
The angel wings were covered using Helmar's Acid Free Adhesive, then
sprinkled with Resplendence Angel Dust. The Angel Dust is amazing, such
glorious shimmer! I was going to add some of the Angel Dust across the flowers, but wanted the 'wings' to really stand out.
The
roses/flowers were painted with Silver Frost just on the edges, and the
bottom petals, and the foliage too. No matter what the colour the
Silver Frost is painted over, it gives a glorious shimmer, and I adore
the way the flowers shine.
| Resplendence Angel Dust upon angel wings |
I added tiny glass lilac seed beads to the lace using Gemstone Glue. In
the right light, they shine, especially with the beautiful Amethyst and Plum CIP's - I will be definitely be playing around with
more beads in the near future.

My final ATC results from Wall tutorial
Hello, my dear painting friends! Irit is here again, and this time I want to show you the final result from my 2 month old Wall art tutorial. Those ATC were made a long time ago, but they were published in April issue of Scrapbooking News and Review web magazine and I couldn't share it anywhere until now.
I made those 4 ATC based on those wall projects, painting with Creative Inspirations Paints(the list is below), stamping over it with Inspired by Stamping Aviary set and using some Copper, Deliquensce Fine White and Fine Clear embossing powders. Then all of them got a touch of Garnet paint as some blood drops.
All stamps are Inspired by Stamping randomly stamped Sweet Aviary set images. And those are totally regular ATC- flat, standard size and ready for exchange. The titles on all cards are from Authentique paper stickers.
And here are some of Creative Inspirations Paints and powders used on this project
See you next month!
