Love of Color

Hi, Barbara here. I had so much fun creating today's card. It all started when I came across my stained glass background stamp. I thought that it would be the perfect stamp to use to have fun with my CI paints. I first stamped the stained glass stamp. I stamped the cardinal, and then the flower 5 times on the background. I masked where needed and used my stamp positioner to get my images where I wanted them. The image stamps are all from Heartfelt creations. I don't know who made the stained glass stamp; I've had it for years.
I got a chance to use lots of my colors: garnet, russet red, and orange for the cardinal; tutu pink, blush, and plum for the flowers; and canary, turquoise, light purple, green olive, and mango for the background. The sentiment box is painted with light purple. The sentiment stamp is from Club Scrap. The background panel is a piece of design paper from My Mind's Eye. The embellishment in the corner is a metal flower charm I had in my stash. I used CI paints on it too.
This card is not only colorful; it has the wonderful shimmer of Creative Inspirations paints.
