Glittery Speckled Eggs

Hi CIP fans! Dana here today sharing a fun Spring decor piece. I picked up this small nest for practically nothing and had a lot of fun embellishing. The original eggs were plain white plastic and in need of some shimmery texture and color.

I first added a coat of Resplendence Angel Dust Glitter to the eggs.  Once dry, I used a toothbrush to add specks of color in Sky Blue, Mellow Yellow and Chocolate.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Inspired By: March Facebook Challenge

Hi CIP fans!  Dana here today sharing a card inspired by the current facebook challenge. I used the card sketch and beautiful color palette to make a Spring-themed thank you card.

I embossed the flowers with Platinum Deliquesce. I added some extra shine to several of the flower centers with Clear Jeweled Inspirations.

We'd love to see what you create for this challenge!  Link up your projects to the Creative Inspirations facebook page by the end of the month for your chance to win. If you do not have a facebook page and would like to enter this challenge, please share the project here on our blog.

Is it spring yet?

Oh, I hope you all have had some nice weather this week like we have.  It has been so nice to air out the house and get outside without freezing.  All of this warmer weather has my bulbs starting to emerge and has me wanting to create some spring inspired projects.

Today I want to share a card I created using paint colors SUNSHINE & ROSE QUARTZ.  LOVE them both!!  and Sunshine...well, it does just that and brings a giant ray of sunshine to your project..who wouldn't love that?!!

I used some acrylic to create the little tag, then I painted on some rose quartz along the edges.  I love how it helps define the tag and adds some sparkle.  The little chick I colored with Copics then painted on the sunshine paint.  Now he/she is a all ready to chirp all about our spring weather.
I distressed the edges of the papers and stitched a little.  Added some ribbon, a flower, button and a little bling.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
