CIP - Reindeer in Paint and Glitter

Hi CIP fans!  I have a trio of cards to share with you today.  These fun little reindeer die cuts are from a die that I've had for a while, and I've used some wonderful Creative Inspirations Paint in Copper to paint them.  Their hooves and antlers are painted in Chocolate, and the antlers have been glittered with Resplendence Angel Dust by Creative Inspirations Paint.  I couldn't resist adding a bit of Garnet paint to the collar, and added some of the Jeweled Inspirations (Siam and Clear) Bling to their noses and collars as well.

Don't forget, the 10% off sale is still going on at the Creative Inspirations Paint website through the end of the month!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

hugs

Funky Fold Christmas Card

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a Funky Fold card that measures 6 x 6

For my card I used Santa Legs and a Cake plate CottageCutz die, embellished with
For the cupcake tops I used Resplendence Angel Dust, I love this as its super pretty in person and has such a glittery beautiful look. Next for the scalloped border on the bottom of the plate I used Creative Inspirations Deliquesce Super Sparkle Gold.

On the greenery I used Creative Inspiration Paints Evergreen to highlight and give some shimmer to the leaves, however I had a hard time getting the photo's to show it, but Love the look it gives. On santa's boots I highlighted with CIP's Onyx black, just on the top of the boot, heel, and bottom of the boots. For the white on Santa's pants I used CIP's Carmel to distress the white.

I tried to take different photo's for you all to see,and hope you can :)

I sooo LOVE using Creative Inspiration Paints to highlight, color, and distress, they make crafty super fun and easy!!!

Thank you all for looking and have a wonderful week, and a Very Merry Christmas!!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Happy Holidays this Friday!

Hi there CI Paint lovers! I hope you are all doing well on this Friday. Emily here with a holiday card I created using the gorgeous CI Paints. UPDATE: I have edited the photos since this was originally posted. I woke up this morning and took new photos so you could enjoy the way this card REALLY looks!!

Today's card was created using the Gingerbread Land collection by Nikki Sivils along with Chocolate, Mint, Spring Green and Rose Quartz paints in addition to Deliquesce Fine White Embossing Powder.

The close ups below show the paints and powder much better than the original. The only part of the card I used the paints on was the gingerbread girl. I decided since she was the focus of the card that I would use them on her. She looks so cute in person.:)

Below are all of the Creative Inspirations Paint products used in the card today.

Thank you for stopping by on this Friday! I will see you soon!

Shimmery Heirloom Ornament Card

I can't tell you how excited I am to be posting my first project on the blog as part of the Creative Inspirations Paint DT! Already, I am having a blast playing with these fantastic paints and can't wait to share many more projects with you all in the future!

But now let's get to this week's project shall we?!

  • I used the Spellbinders "2010 Heirloom Ornament" dies to cut out the ornament after I stamped and embossed it with the matching JustRite "Merry and Bright" stamp set.

  • Next I colored in the ornament image with Garnet, Gold and Caramel.

  • I stamped the sentiment separately and punched it out with 1 1/4" punch and popped it up on the ornament.

  • Then I inked all the edges with Antiue Linen distress ink to make the edges stand out a little.

  • Finally, I painted a peach colored silk ribbon with the Garnet paint to match the ornament and attached it along with a few pearls as a finishing touch.

  • The label was cut with Spellbinders "Labels 8" die and stamped with Hero Arts "Pine Bough" stamp in Peeled Paint Distress ink.

  • The card base was a light green cardstock stamped with Hero Arts "Raindrop Background" in Peeled Paint Distress ink

  • The final touch before assembly was to use a fan brush to "white wash" over the background in Ivory to give it a fantastic pearly shine!

Here you can see the Creative Inspirations colors I used, from left to right they are; Garnet, Gold, Caramel and Ivory.

Finally, here, I hope you can see the shine! I know it's hard to see on the ornament because it is so intricate but you can really see the shimmer on the ribbon and on the background.

Hope you anjoyed today's project! Thanks for stopping by!

Cheers,
