Gilded, Weathered, Antique Gold Frame
Hi everyone! It's Holly posting here today, and I'm sharing this vintage, weathered, antique frame tutorial with you today.
As I was working with this lady portrait stamp, I just knew it had to be framed. But I didn't want a plain old black frame. It needed to be a weathered, antiqued, gilded frame to complement the Old World image. So I pulled out my Antique Gold paint and got to work.
Step 1: Die cut a frame from black cardstock. Place the frame on some scratch paper. Have a bottle of Antique Gold Creative Inspirations Paint ready.
Step 2: Dip a finger into the Antique Gold paint and rub it onto the black frame. Repeat until the entire frame is covered, then set it aside to dry.
Step 3: After the paint is dry, use a sanding block to weather the frame.
Your frame will look shimmery but in that faded, antiqued way. Now you can use this as desired.
I hope you've enjoyed this quick little tutorial. Have a wonderful day!!
