Summer Flowers
Creative Inspirations Paints and flower images were made for each other. This week I used an image from Heartfelt Creations for my focal image. I used tutu pink, blush, and tickled pink to paint the roses and I used sage and evergreen for the leaves. Although it doesn't show well on the scan, the vase is painted with blue ice. IRL it gives the look of glass. The rose ribbon was dyed with spun sugar distress dye and then the edges were highlighted with tutu pink CI paint. I just love the shimmer that the paint gives.

Beautiful card! I never thought to use the Blue Ice to give a glassy look to a jar or vase - great idea!
I love the ribbon lace! And using the paint to highlight the edges I'm sure is amazing IRL!
