Love notes mini printers tray with lot of color

Hello , My dear  creative friends! Irit is here here again with some Valentine inspiration.
This 6*6'' chipboard printers tray from Tando Creative is my favorite alteration piece and it's my 5 th tray to alter, but this time I used a lot of Creative Inspirations Paints and Embossing powders and it's just more perfect with them.
So here is my project- cover side.
I used both paints and embossing powders here. Stamped images on this  cover are heat embossed with Deliquesce Fine Clear  embossing powder, the flowers got this mute look with Winter frost painting over them and birds were painted with Buttercup paint . Even the Love metal sign was painted with the same paint color.
As for the inside part - the tray was white inked and them heat embossed with some mix of embossing powders:  Deliquesce Super Sparkle Gold and  Metallic Copper, and I also added some Garnet red paint  to the paper roses, hearts and butterflies to spotlight them a bit.  Hope you like this project!

See you nest time with my next project!

You Bowl Me Over

Today I want to share a quick project I finished using my Creative Inspirations Paint.
Can you believe I painted a bowl? The ladies at Creative Inspirations Paint told me I would be addicted and start painting everything...lol
I used Autumn wheat, Rustic Red and the New Resplendence red Glitter for the edges

When I got this wooden display bowl-It was an ugly color, sorry I don't have a before picture.
Yes, I have crossed over and will now be painting everything I can get my hands on.

Home Is Where the Heart Is

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you will be spending the day with those that you love! I really haven't gotten tired of making Valentine's cards this year, but I guess this will be my last one for awhile.
Link
I have so much fun building up layers on my projects - and this one started out with the bingo card from Simple Stories. I wanted to use the Unity stamp in my center, but needed a pop of color to help it stand out. I used a Tattered Angels embossed chipboard frame and painted it lightly with Creative Inspirations Paint in Autumn Wheat. Then I added just a tiny bit of Burgundy paint on a paper towel, and lightly rubbed over the frame. This really brought out the embossed design quite nicely.

The heart on the stamp has a polka-dot design, so I decided to add a tiny pearl over each of the dots to finish it up.

Glittery XOXO Valentine

Good morning! It's Holly posting today, and I've got a glittery and pink-y Valentine card to share with you today.

See the "xoxo" chipboard piece? I covered that with some white gesso, and while the gesso was still wet, I poured some Resplendence Angel Dust glitter over it. I used my fingers to lightly press the glitter into the paint and set it aside to dry. You can see a close-up below:

Have you tried the new glitters and embossing powders from Creative Inspirations Paint? Why not order a few colors and try them for yourself? You will love them!

Just a little reminder - this week's challenge is inspired by hearts, so share your creations with us. We all love seeing your wonderful artwork!

Blue Christmas card - Kianel

Kianel here with you today for a card i made for the christmas issue of Magnolia Ink and that i wanted to share with you. I used a lot of Creative Inspirations paints on that project to make it shimmer. The card is a booklet card that opens.
Stamps, papers, leaves and border dies coming from Magnolia, heart die coming from Cheery Lynn designs. You can see Creative Ibnspirations paints on the flowers "fairy dust" and "sky blue".
On the stamped image i used "winter frost" "sky blue" and a touch of "garnet".
This is the inside of the card where i used "tan" and "buttercup" for the light, "aqua marine" "garnet" and "emerald" on Tilda's stamp. Papers, stamps and border, tags and leaves dies are from Magnolia. Flower border and all flower dies are from Cheery Lynn designs.
Here is a close up of the colouring on big Tilda.
And this one shows little tilda using "gold" for the light, "sky blue" and "winter frost" for the clothes.

Well i also wanted to show you another project i made this week. Did you know that your Creative Inspirations paints work outstanding on embossing. Okay, i'd better say debossing because this is the side i chose to use.
I used an embossing plate from Cheery Lynn designs which i coloured with Creative Inspirations paints "sage" "emerald" "rose quartz" "rustic red" "buttercup" "mango".

Don't forget about our weekly challenge that you can find every sunday for a chance to win some great Creative Inspirations products. Love from snowy France, Kianel.

Alter It

This week I thought I'd experiment with my paints again. There is a technique at Technique Junkies called smooched cork. I thought I'd try using CI paints instead on the cork. I had purchased a bunch of cork hot pads at IKEA some time ago. I thought I try using the paints on the cork. I stamped the images (all Stampotique) on the pad with Jet Black Archival ink. I used a water pen with the paints to color the images. I used a sponge with sky blue paint to sponge color on the sides and around the edges. The paints worked quite well on the cork and the images really shimmer. Now, I can use the cork mat as a wall hanging or to hold hot pots.

Inspired By Love

As I mentioned yesterday, our challenge this week is Inspired By: Love!

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I thought this would be a great challenge for this week!

Here's the card I created:

Check the heart out:
It actually was a happy accident!  I love how it turned out though!

-------------------------

Got out my Xyron to create a sticker!  I haven't used this in a long time!

First, put a piece of white cardstock through my Xyron, placed it on my Circut cutting mat and cut a heart out.

I peeled the backing off just the heart section.

I ment to use Resplendence Regel Red Glitter, but am in love with the Deliquesce Super Sparkle Pink Embossing Powder.  So I grabbed that without thinking and dumped in on the sticky portion of the heart and then thought, "oh NO! I wanted to used glitter!"  But I decided to try it out to see what happened.

I liked the results so I thought I would stick with it!  Look at the glitter in the embossing powder!!  I just love this stuff!!  It has some shades of pink and red as well!

-------------------------

But this technique is fun to do with glitter as well!!  And as I found out with embossing powder as well, it gives such a fun texture!

Have a great day!  And as always thanks so much for stopping by!

My Black and White love

Hello, my dear creative friends! This is Irit here again and this time with my non traditional Valentine project.
Sometimes I am just in love with  some colors or designs and this post is all about it. I am in love with Black and White (also I don't craft a lot in those colors, but my outfits are mostly B/W), and I am also very much in love with Tando Creative mini chipboard printers trays. And this time I combined both my loves ti make this altered project for you to see and I just had those most perfect Black, Clear and Whote Creative Inspirations Paint embossing powders and paints.

Product list:
Creative Inspirations Paint embossing powders: Deliquesce Fine Clear,  Fine White, Fine Black,Resplendence Angel Dust
CI Paints: Winter frost, Fairy Dust , Onyx
Robin's Nest products:Paper, chipboards, Dew Drops, Alphas
Tando creative tray and all small chipboards
Stamps: Prima
Prima flowers, Black Alphas  and lace
You don't need a tutorial to make this project, just to cut all possible B/W Robin's Nest cardstock and to arrange them under the  chipboard frame. Then embellish each section with whatever  you fancy: stamped vintage images, small  covered chipboards, flowers, lace, metals. I even painted small spools into black and white , covered the bird with some sparkle glitter, die cut black chipboard swirls, covered the sewing machine with black embossing powder and made this heat embossed frame.
Dew drops in black and white are  just perfect for this project! Make shapes with them, add them over the frame or swirls. you can go a bit crazy here, but remember that it's a very small (6*6'') item, so there is no space for big items to use.

Now you have a perfect Valentine gift in those non traditional colors.
See your again in two weeks!

Roses For You?

Hello, Dawn here today to share an adorable card I finished using my Creative Inspirations Paint.
This cutie is Humphrey from Crafter's Companion- I started by coloring him with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Next, I decided to pull out my paints

I used a very tiny brush to accent all the leaves and roses, then I went in and just touched the inner flowers with Fairy Dust and the ribbon holding the flowers.    It is so hard to show all the shine.

I used some Really Reasonable Ribbon on the front as well as the inside. That greenery piece is from a die cut from Cheery Lynn..
I bet you figured out this is going to be a Valentine card?
Hope you enjoyed my design today.
